The FAWN
Named after the deer that roam the vale. Our tiny herd of cabins are grouped like a family of deer, within sight of one another, but with enough distance to do your own thing, without feeling overlooked.
Douglas fir and cedar wood were harvested in the valley before being sawn at the local Bram Crag saw mill. The feature wall in the cabin are made from off-cuts – helping to make use of what otherwise would go to waste. The timber beneath the bed has a story to tell. Luke and Jack reclaimed the lambing pens built by their great-grandfather to make the bed. There are floor to ceiling windows behind the log burning stove, so if you’re inside, you can hear the fire crackle as you enjoy the stunning views. Watch how the light and shade shifts on the shoulder of the mountain they also call Saddleback.
