The Red is our creative cabin, it’s a mindful place and an escape from your busy life to find your brilliant self. A hidden gem of a cabin in the Lake District – in the vale that we call home.
I’ve found two lovely chairs for you to sink into and gaze at the marvellous mountain we call Saddleback. Or you can make yourself a brew, curl up on the kingsize bed with a good book and be whisked away to another world entirely.
In the shower room, there will be no chilly toes, as the whole cabin enjoys underfloor heating. And we provide toiletries made right here in the Lake District. We’ve kitted out your mini kitchen so that you don’t need to leave. Though there are pubs in the nearby village if you want to eat out.
There’s no WiFi in the cabin, however we do have a good 5G signal.
Outside, on your own private patio, there’s a fire-pit to keep you warm – which doubles as a griddle if you fancy cooking on it! When the sun goes down, it’s the perfect time to warm the wood-fired hot tub and settle down for a night of star-gazing. In The Vale enjoys some of the darkest skies in the UK – if you’re lucky you’ll catch a shooting star or a hint of the northern lights. And once night falls, the wildlife comes out to play. You’ll hear our resident owls and sometimes catch sight of the deer as they move silently across our farm.
